For Volunteers

Here are some questions that are frequently asked by some of our prospective volunteers.

Question: Will I receive training?
Answer: Yes, full induction and relevant course free.

Question: Will I receive expenses?
Answer: Yes, door to door mileage will be reimbursed.

Question: Do I have to have a police check (DBS)
Answer: Yes, as you will be working with vulnerable adults. We will pay.

Question: How much time do I have to give?
Answer: Totally flexible to suit you. Minimum a couple of hours a week.

Question: What do I have to do as a TCSP volunteer?
Answer: Totally flexible, help in anyway you can as per full range of services.

For Service Users

Here are some questions that are frequently asked by some of our prospective service users.

Questions: Is there a charge?
Answer: Some of the services may be chargeable.

Question: Can this service be used for short periods?
Answer: Yes, no time scale.

Question: Do you offer any information?

Question: Will I always see the same person?
Answer: Yes, we try to match our volunteers and service users as best we can, both having similar interests to help a sustainable friendship.
